Nearest airport from Ooty is Coimbatore International Airport. The airport is at a distance of 94 kilometers and it takes about two and a half hours to cover the distance. You can easily get a taxi from the airport to reach Ooty.

Mettupalayam railway station is the nearest railway station from Ooty, at a distance of 50 Kilometers. Mettupalayam is connected with cities like Chennai, Coimbatore, Bangalore, Mysore and others. This is the starting point of the Nilgiri Mountain Railways. Nilgiri Mountain Railways has its name inscribed in World Heritage list. The toy train will take you through amazing landscapes amid nature’s untouched beauty.

Upon reaching Gundlupet, enter the road for Bandipur National Park and Madhumalai Wildlife Sanctuary.
