Bandipur National Park is a beautiful forest reserve in Tamil Nadu. Created in the 1930s it was earlier the hunting grounds of the erstwhile Maharaja Voodiyar. Home to a rich variety of flora and fauna, Bandipur National Park is the dream destination of every wildlife buff. From Asiatic elephants to the gaur, Sambhar, chital, mouse deer, four horned antelope, wild boar, jackal, sloth bear, panther and Malabar squirrels, you can get to see hoards of wild animals over here.
