  • By Train: Mettupalayam (45 km) is the nearest railway station that connects Ooty with other major cities of India. There are regular trains available from Chennai and Coimbatore. The very popular toy train also connects Coonoor and Mettupalayam with Ooty.

Located at a distance of 20 km from Ooty and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. Apart from this, you may also visit attractions such as Echo Rocks, Shooting Point, Hidden Valley, Thread Garden, Pine Forest, Wax World, Tea Factories, etc. The Doddabetta Peak is also one of the must visiting destination in Ooty.
